BROADFIELDS, EAST MOLESEY, LONDON

This project features a part-single part-double storey rear extension to a detached house in South-West London. The client's brief was to create a large kitchen-dining room that opened out onto the rear garden, as well as a separate utility room & play room at ground floor level. At first floor level, the owners wished to create a new master bedroom with en-suite shower room, as well as a new family bathroom.

The resulting design proposed a rear extension formed of two principle blocks. The larger two storey block houses the kitchen at ground floor level with the new master bedroom & large balcony above. The new dining room is located within the single storey block & is linked to the adjacent kitchen. It features a large 5 panel set of bi-folding doors that enable this space to be completely opened up the rear garden.​
