ISLINGTON ROAD, SOUTHVILLE, BRISTOL

This project involved a comprehensive refurbishment & enlargement of an end of terrace Victorian house in Southville. The rear & flank walls of the previous small kitchen to the rear of the house were removed & a large L-shaped extension was added to create a large open-plan kitchen-dining room that opens out to the garden. The extension is constructed entirely from highly-insulated timber frame & is clad with black-stained vertical timber cladding. The remainder of the house was also comprehensively refurbished. A new utility room & family bathroom were created at ground floor & a new en-suite shower room was added at first floor level.
